Hieroglyphics

Hieroglyphs are a writing system used by the Ancient Egyptians. That contained a combination of logographic, alphabetic, and ideographic elements. Hieroglyphs appear from artistic society of Egypt. Imprinted hieroglyphs are all more or less symbolic. They represent real or imaginary elements, occasionally styled and basic, other than totally familiar in most cases. In reality, the same character can even, according to conditions, be understand in various ways as a phonogram, as an ideogram, or as a determinative.

  1. I could not imagine in today’s world filled with the hustle and bustle that we are faced with to take the time out to write and read messages written in symbols. I feel this kind of communication totally is a gift that the Egyptians had and that no way our society today could match. I assume this art of communication was no different to them as our abnormal way of spelling through text messages we use today. I cannot wait to see what my grandchildren say about the way we communicate!

  2. I have always been interested in hieroglyphics and as soon as I saw this article It immediately grabbed my attention. Its just astounding to see the detail that goes into some of these works. They are truly works of art, I have seen very few blogs so far that deal with the art aspect of the course but this incorporates it perfectly.

I also love some of the widgets that you guys have on the side bars, I need to figure out how to get some of them for my group. The video bar is defiantly something i need to put in.

  4. I along with many others I'm sure have always been interested in hieroglyphics. It was very interesting to read about how exactly the Egyptians came up with this very unique writing system. I had no idea each symbol had meaning behind it other than the letter its supposed to represent. The Egyptians were clearly a very intelligent and evolved culture and there is no other writing system that’s as advanced as this. Nice job on this blog, you guys have very well researched posts and had something to interest everyone.

  6. Hieroglyphics are one of the most artistic and beautiful scientific findings of all time. Modern day languages and writing instruments have their roots in these coloful, symbolic drawings. They stand as a historic record of Early Egyptian art and culture depicting events in everyday life and death. Society will always value hieroglyphics for their beautiful artwork which has stood throughout the ages.
