SMART PEN

"Universal Display Corp. built this pen prototype with built-in OLED screen. One of its advantages is the possibility to bend as well as the fact that it is touch-sensitive. This smart pen also enables direct connection to the Internet"
Who could have ever thought of this? a computer in a pen?

Sun Glasses

"Different companies experiment with micro screens for years. This prototype is well conceived in the sense of style, but it is also highly practical. It has an integrated screen of 800x600 resolution, a digital camera, microphone, headphones and a mobile telephone." a very tool for future communication.

GOOGLE WAVE

Finally unveiled after years of development under the codename “Walkabout,” Google wave combines popular features from across the web — feeds, shared documents, photo galleries, etc. — to redefine online communication. At least that’s the goal. Its creators, Lars and Jens Rasmussen (the braintrust behind Google Maps), even say they set out to break down traditional modes of communication — email and instant messaging — to find a system more in sync with how web users prefer to talk today. The result looks promising.
At a basic level, Wave is part chat room, part collaborative document. You and your friends belong to a page that any of you can add information to, and it will show up for everyone in real time. And this information comes in many different forms: images, videos, links, comments, event invitations, polls, blog entries, and the like. It’s an ongoing conversation — with rich content.

Nokia Moprh Phone Concept

These different devices are a one device called Nokia Morph. This is our future cell phones. They can turn in to any shape. You can wear it on your arm as a watch. You use it as a keyboard. You can also use it as a phone. This is a revolutionary invention in communication field.

$100 Laptops

If we are to accept that the world economy is now fully dependent upon the information economy, then it stands to reason that those people who are left out of the global information network are doomed an endless cycle of poverty. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology Media Lab has designed a fully functional laptop computer that can be sold for $100 so that children in poor or developing nations can get access to the Internet. To keep costs down, the laptop will use a $35 dual-mode display of the kind found in cheap DVD players, a 500-megahertz processor, a slimmed-down operating system, and only 1 gigabyte of storage. It can be plugged into a wall outlet or charged by a crank-driven battery, and it will connect to the Internet via a wireless card.

Nokia Morph Concept

Morph is a concept demonstrating some of the possibilities nanotechnologies might enable in future communication devices. Morph can sense its environment, is energy harvesting and self cleaning . Morph is a flexible two-piece device that can adapt its shape to different use modes. Nanotechnology enables to have adaptive materials yet rigid forms on demand. Since I cannot upload the video here is the link on you tube. It is a very fantastic invention in the communication field.

Micromedia Papers

There is no shortage of designs for futuristic electronic paper. Various designs of this magical stuff will allow entire books to fit on a single memory-enabled, polymer sheet, displayed using infinitely reconfigurable magnetically-charged pigments; or futuristic printing technologies that will allow mass-produced super-cheap color screens that could be applied like wallpaper. One of the more interesting e-paper concepts comes from the techno-futurists at Lunar Design, who have imagined a product for the year 2015 called MicroMedia Paper. Available in packs of ten for around $35, these ultra-thin, mini color screens would work using replaceable "power sticker" batteries and would be controlled using touch sensitive buttons and a volume dial that adjusts the integrated speakers. Video, pictures and teleconferencing imagery could be transferred using a built-in wireless connection.

The Glove Phone

This is a glove phone which has bluetooth technology in the glove. There is a rational argument to be made for the Bluetooth glove phone, a reassemblage of parts from a Bluetooth head set into a driving glove that was constructed by British gadget guy and television personality Jason Bradbury. This glove integrates our telecommunications devices into a stylish and functional clothing accessory while keeping the bulky phone out of the way. This invention could help avoid a lot of automobile accident due to phone. We can save more lives using this. This is a cool and safe invention.

The Evolution and Future of Communication Technology

A future telephone with everything in there including Web Cam. A phone will have all kinds of future that are including in cell-phones but there will be built in web-cam. A web-cam will only work if the opposing party have same kind of phone with web-cam. This phone will work only by Voice over IP (VOIP).

Cellular, Satellite technology in mobile phones by 2010 ( MSV L-Series)

A Satellite technology with cellular phone feature mobile phone will be create by SkyTerra Mobile satellite Ventures. Nokia 888, A Vision Of The Future

This is Nokia’s finest product. Although its only a vision of the future for Nokia but they have a way of making it a reality in near future. I think in future this phone will have anything from holographic texting to virtual communicating in holographic form. And we might say it’s just peoples wish but soon Nokia will work hard to get this product out in the market. The reason behind it is that it’s competing against big companies like Sony, apple and etc... This might be the most reliable way to communicate because it will have everything that one might desire. Just watch this video and you will see what the vision of the future is.

Holographic Computer

When you lay you eyes on this picture, it almost seems like it’s just another world. But the truth is, it does seem like it’s totally another world. The reason why I say that is because we haven’t seen a technology out there or even in movies, they only have couple of prototypes of this product. There are some movies that have that prototypes but some people think that it’s just computer editing. But we do not know how true that is. But if any of you have an urge to find out about this then there are a lot of sources out there where they have some information on this technology. This technology is compact and reliable source of communicating with anyone out there.

Holographic Phone

Some people might think of this as a joke and some may take it as it’s just a technology that’s advancing rapidly. This is true that there are holographic phones because you might have seen it in some movies. The only thing is that it’s not in production, but they do have prototypes for special group of people. The reason of this holographic phone is to be reliable source of communication because one does not need to hold the phone to interact with other people. No matter how far the other person is, it seems like they’re right there with you. So we just have to wait until the companies make this product in production and sell it in the market.

Virtual Keyboard

When u looks at this image, it almost seems unreal. Because it is rare that people know what this is or even if it’s real. This virtual keyboard technology is so sophisticated that you might have to real an instruction manual just to know how to use it. This keyboard doesn’t just makes it easy for people to communicate but it also capable for so many things such as; you can connect this keyboard to your Bluetooth and you can simply just type on keyboard and it will appear on your phone and other devices which has a Bluetooth built in. when we question of this technology even being out, but some people might notice that its already being used in some TV shows such as “Room Raiders” where this is included in a spy kit. But in near future most of the people will take an advantage of this device.

Cisco Unified Communications

When you watch this video, you’ll realize this is only the beginning of a new era of a communication. Cisco is always known for creating technologies that people haven’t seen them before. And they always have a way to surprise people with new tech gadgets. After watching this video, a person can control any way they communicate. They can even control what they’re children do with playing or doing any activities that they shouldn’t be doing; it makes jobs for parents a lot easier. And troubleshooting a problem right away is always a dream for consumers with a product. It is also good for companies, because they can improve their productivity.
