  1. This is the technology that I have been waiting for. A full size, fully interactive touch screen computer. This is the future of home computing. No longer will we have to sit at a desk to use the computer, now the whole family can sit at the table, which is the computer, and draw or educational games. I have enjoyed and learned from your blog this semester. With luck some of these really cool and useful technologies will actually be developed in the near future.

  2. Hopefully this technology will make all other computer input obsolete. This multi-touch screen interface will at least replace all functions of the mouse in the near future. After that I can't wait for touch sensitive inputs to replace the standard keyboard. We all know this technology is viable because many cell phones now have a multi-touch interface. Its just a matter of time for it completely revolutionize the entire computer industry.

  3. I think that this new technology is really great. I have seen it used before in some businesses and certainly in the movies but never really thought of the impact that it would have in society.

I think something like this would be an amazing thing to have in restaurants, coffee shops, libraries and homes. Imagine being seated at a table in a restaurant (like the video shows and ordering your food without having to wait for a waitress or waiter to come over which can sometimes be a long time, or being able to play a game of monopoly with your family at the table with no lost pieces and electronic banking or being able to look up things at the library and see them in a way you have never seen them before. The flat map in the book could virtually come to life.

Although this technology has an expensive price tag it will not be long before it is reasonably priced for the average consumer like all technology eventually is. If the demand is there, it will happen.
